Emily L Behrman

EMILY BEHRMAN

I am a postdoctoral associate working in the Stern Lab at Howard Hughes Janelia Research Campus. I received my PhD in Biology in 2017 from the University of Pennsylvania and did my dissertation research in the Schmidt Lab.

I am broadly interested in studying the process of evolution in natural populations. My postdoctoral research focuses on behavioral evolution between species of fruit flies (Drosophila) and my dissertation research focused on the rate and genetic architecture of rapid seasonal adaptation in natural populations of fruit flies (Drosophila melanogaster).
